This Notice at Collection is provided by Appriss Retail Holdings, Inc. (“Appriss Retail”) and its family of companies (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to California residents.
This Notice describes how we collect, use, and retain information that relates to you (“Personal Information”) when acting as a “business” or “controller” of that information. This includes Personal Information that we collect both online and offline, including through our website, www.apprissretail.com, and other websites, applications, and digital properties that link to our Privacy Notice (collectively, the “Sites”).

1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
Appriss Retail may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: Name, email address, physical address, phone number, social media profile information, usernames, signature, profile pictures, or other similar identifiers.
- Unique Personal Identifiers: Device identifier; cookies, beacons, pixel tags, mobile ad identifiers, or other similar technology; customer number, unique pseudonym or user alias; telephone numbers, or other forms of persistent or probabilistic identifiers that can be used to identify a particular consumer or device.
- Personal Information Described in California’s Customer Records Statute (California Civil Code § 1798.80(e)): Telephone number, employment, employment history, as well as the categories listed in “Identifiers” category above.
- Professional Information: Current or previous employers, job title, business contact information, areas of expertise, or other information about the organization with which you are affiliated.
- Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity: Browsing history, search history, information on your interaction with us and use of our services, including but not limited to, pages that you visit before, during, and after using our Services, links clicked, content interacted with, frequency and duration of visits, operating system, browser software, or device type.
- User Content: Comments, feedback, tips, updates, or other material you voluntarily post to our social media pages, blogs, or forums.
- Preferences: Stated interests, newsletter frequency preferences, and other communication preferences.
- Inferences: Drawn from other information we collect to create a profile which may reflect your preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, or aptitudes.
Sensitive Personal Information: We do not intentionally collect Sensitive Personal Information (as defined under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ae)) through our Sites in our capacity as a Controller. We collect Personal Information directly from California residents and from social networks, third-party business partners, data analytics providers, advertising networks, and publicly available sources.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Appriss Retail and the third parties we work with may use cookies, pixel tags, or similar tracking technologies (“Collection Technologies”) to gather the Personal Information described above (particularly Unique Personal Identifiers and Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity) when you use, access, or interact with our Sites. 3. Purposes for Which We Use Personal Information
- We use your Personal Information for the following business purposes:
- To provide our products and services: Including to operate, troubleshoot, and improve our products and services, and to fulfill our contracts.
- To interact with you on behalf of your organization: Including with respect to the products and services your organization uses or has expressed interest in.
- For research and analytical purposes: To conduct market research, understand Site usage, and improve our services.
- For marketing and advertising: To send tailored communications and assess the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
- To respond to or notify you: Including when you contact us with a request or question, or to send technical notices, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- For legal, fraud prevention, and safety purposes: To defend against harm, comply with legal obligations, respond to legal process, and address regulatory compliance.
- For other legitimate business purposes: Including internal administration, data analysis, billing, and detecting and responding to fraud or illegal activity.
- For purposes you have consented to.
4. Retention of Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice and our Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In determining retention periods, we consider: (i) the duration of our relationship with you or your organization; (ii) legal and contractual obligations; (iii) applicable statutes of limitations; (iv) the business purposes for which information was collected; or (v) whether retention is needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.
5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Our use of Collection Technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information under the CCPA. The categories of Personal Information that we sold or shared with advertising networks and data analytics providers in the 12 months preceding the Last Updated date of this Notice are:
- Identifiers (online identifiers only)
- Unique Personal Identifiers
- Internet and Other Electronic Network Activity
- Inference Information
We sold or shared Personal Information to third parties for marketing and advertising purposes. We do not sell or share Personal Information in any other context, and we do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under the age of 16.
To opt out of the selling or sharing of your Personal Information, please visit our Notice of Right to Opt Out. If you have enabled privacy controls on your browser (such as a plugin), we will treat that as a valid request to opt out. We honor opt-out preference signals transmitted via the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and upon receipt of a GPC signal, we will process your opt out. If you choose to use the GPC signal, you will need to turn it on for each supported browser or browser extension you use.
6. Disclosure of Your Personal Information
We disclosed the following categories of Personal Information to service providers or contractors for a business purpose in the 12 months preceding the Last Updated date of this Notice:

7. Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have the following rights with respect to Personal Information we hold as a Controller:
- Right to Know and Access: Request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of Personal Information collected about you, including sources, purposes for collection, selling, or sharing Personal Information, and categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: Opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information, including via GPC signals.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Limit the use or disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information (to the extent applicable) to purposes permitted under the CCPA.
- Right to Non-Retaliation: We will not retaliate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA.
- Right to Appeal: If we deny your privacy rights request in whole or in part, you may appeal our decision by submitting a written appeal to privacy@apprissretail.com.
To exercise your California rights, Submit a Request. We will comply with your request upon verification of your identity and, to the extent applicable, the identify of the California resident on whose behalf you are making such request. We will verify your identity either to a “reasonable degree of certainty” or a “reasonably high degree of certainty” depending on the sensitivity of the Personal Information and the risk of harm to you by unauthorized disclosure, deletion, or correction as applicable. To do so, we will ask you to verify data points based on information we have in our records concerning you.
If you are submitting a request on behalf of a California resident, please submit the request through the designated method. After submitting the request, we will require additional information to verify your authority to act on behalf of the California resident.
8. Shine the Light Law
We do not disclose personal information obtained through our Sites or services to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Accordingly, we have no obligations under California Civil Code § 1798.83.
