As a member of the GTM team, the Sales Director is part of the sales team and is primarily responsible for the growth of ARR within Appriss Retail via both new customer acquisition and customer expansion. The Sales Executive must have strong experience selling enterprise class SaaS software as well as real time decisions solutions. They must possess the ability to prospect to new leads in addition to cultivating existing relationships to expand the Appriss Retail footprint. They need to have strong business acumen, executive presence, and negotiation skills. Responsibilities
Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities working with lead generation to identify potential campaigns.
Ability to identify, nurture and develop leads separate from the lead generation team as necessary.

Strong understanding of the Retail Industry to be able to identify customer challenges and how Appriss Retail can address those concerns.

BackgroundAppriss Global Support organization supports Appriss’ Products, Services, Infrastructure, and Platforms on a 24x7x365 basis. Appriss Support provides both Tier 1, Tier 2 level support using the ITIL (ITSM) Framework for tracking issues for the purposes of driving Service Delivery improvements and raising customer satisfaction scores. It is Support’s mission to save business time by reducing escalations and improving operational efficiency through continuous process improvements and automation improvements. Additionally, it is the responsibility of Support to reduce both Incidents and Problems through a process that isolates the problem and drives the changes to eliminate the incidents.

Position Summary
Perform as the first line of defense on a 24/7 support team to take appropriate action toward resolving application and data issues as they occur. Investigate and respond to applications and data issues while minimizing the impact on customer service. Follow processes and procedures to escalate issues as required in a 24/7 support environment. Work cross functionally with Engineering, Data operations, account managers and customers to resolve issues in a timely manner. Perform Root Cause analysis of critical issues to prevent future occurrences. Document processes and conduct training for L1/L2 teams as needed.

Communicate and document releases provided to customers for all maintenance and enhancement packages

The data science team works with detailed transaction-level data sets supplied by Appriss Retail’s customers to develop new products and improve existing products using advanced analytical methods, algorithms, and machine/statistical learning.

The Senior Data Scientist/Predictive Modeler will be part of the Data Science Research Team responsible for working with large complex data sets to develop and improve analytical solutions and algorithms. The day-to-day responsibilities of this individual will be to perform analysis, developing machine learning and predictive modeling solutions, and to serve as an expert in the latest predictive technologies for the Data Science team.
